Hi everyone,
Apologies for the lack of updates, I’ve had extremely inconsistent cell reception and wifi ever leaving the Seattle area and haven’t been able to update the blog as much as I’d like. My posts are now about a month out-of-date with my travels, which mimics many a hiatus-hamstrung webcomic artist, whom I chastise and revere.
Anyways, I am currently in Grand Teton National Park and still have no cell reception, but have some wifi and will try to get updates on the board this week. In the past month, I have:
- Went to the Seattle Pride Parade and met up with my old friend Colin Nelson (thanks for letting me crash at your place!)
- Seen a mountain lion, 4 bears, and an uncountable number of elk, deer, and marmots.
- Survived a fire at the hostel I was staying at (I’m fine now, but it was a close shave).
- My car “exploded” (mechanic’s words, not mine)
- Saw the 4th of July fireworks blast off from atop the Grand Coulee Dam.
- Met up with Cat in Glacier National Park and Purnima in Grand Teton National Park
- Cut out the Canadian portions of this trip and cut the return date back to just after Labor Day (I miss you guys too much to stay on the road so long! And also this trip has cost more than I planned).
And overall, I am doing well and still having the time of my life. I’ll try to loop you guys in as soon as I can. Bye!
